My History Project - Ancestors

The ancestor of mine who first arrived in America was John Viall who, at the age of 12, sailed from England on the Arabella, a ship that was part of Massachusetts Colony Governor Winthrop's fleet, in 1630.

Others came to this hemisphere in the 1800's from Norway, Sweden, Romania, Russia, Poland, Germany traveling to the United States, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.

The ancestor of mine who arrived in the United States most recently was my own Mother! She was born in the north of Argentina near the Iguazu falls and grew up in Argentina and Uruguay. Mom arrived here with her parents in the early 1960's. After traveling through Europe they sailed for America
